About Us

My name is Manav a university student from Toronto. Ever since I was 5 I've always had a strong passion for my city, Toronto. I have also been a huge fan of the Toronto Raptors. The streets, the food, the culture, the views, the people, and the landmarks. Everything about Toronto has also been such a great, interesting, calm, peaceful, and kind city to live in. 

I started FARNORTH6 in grade 10, For a project called a personal project which is a task assigned to all grade 10s and is a requirement for the final year of the MYP (Middle Years Programme) for IB schools. For the personal project, you choose a topic which you are passionate about, would want to learn more about, and does not relate a lot towards any academic course. The purpose of this project is for students to become aware and known of many areas and topics of life so it could possibly spark ideas of careers they are interested in and give them experience in these topics. A personal project must have a highly challenging goal which is to be achieved. An example of a personal project is if you are interested in sports you could make basketball skill training tutorial videos and post them onto youtube to train beginners interested in basketball. 

My topic was to create my own original digital designs of my passion for Toronto. It started off as a school project but has now become my own company. It has now been some time and this project has given me experience in entrepreneurship and all the factors of the start of a new business. 

I have always been interested in streetwear and the newest trends. With FARNORTH6, I can now reveal my vision of my creative designs onto clothing. 

We are working on associating with charities society in the near future. We are truly interested in volunteering and helping others in need, this will be a huge opportunity to achieve this. Not only will this bring smiles to the ones in need and seek for help but will also bring big smiles to us.
